OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Coleman University’s Learning Resource Center is dedicated to providing students and faculty with the resources they need to succeed. We offer physical collections, ebooks, and subscription database access for content in all subjects offered at Stratford. Our mission is:

 

  • To serve as an extension of the classroom by providing resources and teaching students, staff, and faculty the information literacy skills needed for academic success.
  • To be an integral part of curriculum development by collaborating with staff and faculty.
  • To create a welcoming learning environment.

RESEARCH

Your coursework at Coleman University will involve research components that the Library is here to assist you with! RESEARCH SKILLS

As your librarians, it’s our goal to help you develop your critical thinking skills. Several facets of critical thinking that will help you in your academic career are problem-solving, analyzing and evaluating information, using information to make smart decisions, and communicating your informed thoughts and ideas to others. Mastering these skill sets will help you become successful not only in your educational path, but also in your professional and personal lives. LINKEDIN LEARNING

Coleman provides students and faculty with free access to LinkedIn Learning. This website provides high-quality, online learning courses and videos covering a wide range of subjects that can be useful both inside and outside the classroom. To sign in and start using LinkedIn Learning, click the link below and use your Coleman email address and password to login. For example:
