15% tuition discount offered to a student who previously graduated from Coleman University and enrolls in a new program of study that would lead to another degree at the AAS, BS, or MS level.

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University Alumni Advantage Award is offered to any Coleman University student who previously graduated from a program of study at Coleman University and enrolls in a new program of study leading to the awarding of a degree at the Associate, Bachelors or Masters level degree.

Amount: The amount of the award is a 15% discount on tuition ONLY.

Applicable Term: The applicable terms and conditions are effective term 3 2018 and all future terms unless revised.

Application Deadline: Student must submit the Alumni Advantage Award application before the published first day of classes in the quarter for which they would like the Alumni Advantage Award to be applicable. Application must also be submitted before the first day of classes in which the students begins the new degree program that would make them eligible for this award.

Up to $10,000.00 in tuition discount offered to a student who enrolls in a new program of study at Coleman University that would lead to another degree at the AAS, BS level and where said program is directly related to their current field of employment.

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University Professional Affiliate Grant is offered to any new or readmit Coleman University Undergraduate student who is a US citizen or green card holder and whose first term of enrollment occurs term 3 2018 or later. (May 2018) .The grant is available to any readmitted undergraduate student whose first term of readmission is term 3 2018 or after subject to student meeting the eligibility requirements applicable to this grant as contained below.

Amount: The grant is awarded as an amount up to $10,000 and is applicable to TUITION ONLY for classes taken at Coleman University after the grant application has been approved for the effective term on the approval notice. The grant shall be awarded in the amount of $250.00 per class successfully completed at Coleman University.  All fees associated with classes and other institutional fees are student’s responsibility and said fees and institutional charges are not eligible. The discount will be applied to tuition only for the duration of student’s continuous enrollment at Coleman University. If student withdraws from class and are eligible for an institutional refund, the applicable institutional refund rate will be applied to the previously issued grant.

Term Applicable: The grant will apply to any class applicable to the eligible degree program in which the student enrolls. The grant is not applicable retroactively to any class in which the student was enrolled in prior to the term in which they are approved to utilize the discount or to a student who started as a new student or readmitted to Coleman University prior to term 3 2018.

Application Deadline: Grant application must be submitted prior to the first day of the term in which the applicant is admitted as a new student or a readmit to Coleman University subject to program terms and conditions in order to qualify for award.  No late or retroactive applications will be accepted. Applicants who are approved for the award must enroll for all future terms in which they would be eligible for the award credit by the end of the first week of registration for each consecutive term applicable.  The latest registration date allowed shall be the Friday in week 5 of the term preceding the term the award is to be used.

Up to $1000.00 in tuition discount offered to a student who enrolls in an undergraduate degree program of study at Coleman University leading to an AAS or BS degree and is enrolled for at least 3 consecutive terms before applying for this grant.

Overview:

Eligible Student: Coleman University Financial Literacy Grant is open to enrolled undergraduate Coleman University students once they have completed at least 3 consecutive terms at Coleman University immediately preceding the term in which they apply for approval for grant and demonstrate good institutional standing, good academic standing and a commitment to maintaining astute financial awareness as defined below. Student must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident.

Amount: The grant is for tuition ONLY and applicant is responsible for payment of all fees related to program and any other fee charged by Coleman University while enrolled. The grant shall be for a maximum up to $1000.00 and shall be applied at the rate of $250.00 per term up to a maximum of 4 consecutive terms.

Term Applicable: The applicable terms and conditions are effective term 3 2021 and all future terms unless revised. The first term for which applications shall be accepted is term 3 2021 subject top all applicable terms and conditions.

Application Deadline: At the time the application is submitted, the applicant must have enrolled for the term in which they would like to use the award for the first time. Award application must be submitted by the end of the second week of registration for the first term in which the applicant would like to be considered for the award but no later than week 6 of the term preceding the term in which they would like to be considered for the award. Applicants who are approved for the award must enroll for all future terms in which they would be eligible for the award credit by the end of the first week of registration for each consecutive term applicable following the requirement of the award being distributed over 4 consecutive terms.

Tuition Waiver for first 2 classes in first term of enrollment for students from closed institutions of higher education

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University Transition Grant is offered to any new Coleman University student who was previously enrolled in a Higher Education institution that closed and whose first term of enrollment is term 2 2017 or later, subject to student meeting the eligibility requirements applicable to this grant as contained below.

Amount: The grant is awarded as a tuition waiver for TUITION ONLY for up to 2 classes taken at Coleman University after the grant application has been approved effective the term on the approval notice and in the first term of enrollment at Coleman University.  All fees associated with classes and other institutional fees are student’s responsibility and said fees and institutional charges are not eligible for application of the tuition waiver.

Term Applicable: The waiver will apply to any class applicable to the eligible degree program in which the student enrolls in their first term of enrollment up to 2 classes. The student must be a new student and enroll for the first time in Term 2 2017 or later term. Waiver is not applicable retroactively to any class in which the student was enrolled in prior to the term in which they are approved to utilize the discount or to a student who started as a new student prior to term 2 2017.

Application Deadline: Application must be submitted by the first day of classes for the term in which this award is to be used and the application must be submitted by the first day of the first term of enrollment at Coleman University.

Up to $5000.00 in tuition discount offered to a student who enrolls in a degree program of study at Coleman University leading to an AAS or BS or MS degree and is a military spouse or dependents and who is new Coleman University student and whose first term of enrollment occurs in or after term 3 2018 (May 2018)

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University Military Family award is offered to any military spouse or dependents  who is  new  Coleman University student whose first term of enrollment  occurs after  term 2 2018 (March 2018).  Military family shall be defined as dependents and spouse of   U.S. Active Duty, Veterans, National Guard and Selected Reserve.  Military spouse is defined as a legally recognized spouse in the state of residence and dependent is defined as dependent child in the household as listed in household tax filing of most recent tax year or any documentation that proves your dependency status to the satisfaction of the Coleman University Military Support Office (MSO).  The determination of the MSO is final.

Amount: The award is awarded is valued up to $5000.00 and is applicable to tuition only for classes taken at Coleman University after the award application has been approved effective the term on the approval notice. The award shall be applied as follows:

Undergrad Associate: $250.00 per class successfully completed at Coleman University with a minimum term GPA of 2.5.

Undergrad Bachelor: $125.00 per class successfully completed at Coleman University with a minimum term GPA of 2.5.

Graduate: $416.66 per class completed at Coleman University with a minimum term GPA of 3.0.

Applicable Term: The applicable terms and conditions are effective term 3 2018 and all future terms unless revised.

Application Deadline:

Award application must be submitted prior to the first day of the term in which the applicant is admitted as a new student to Coleman University in order to qualify for award.

$166.50 for each class completed towards an undergraduate degree program at Coleman University by a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Total Value: $166.50 per class up to $6,600.00 discount on Tuition ONLY

Applicable Study Areas: Any AAS, BS, degree seeking program available at the selected Coleman University Campus.

Limitations: Applicant must be a US citizen or green card holder, enrolled in Direct Cost and remains enrolled through graduation subject to program terms and conditions.

Number of Grants Available: Unlimited.

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University Coleman Rewards program is offered to any undergraduate domestic Coleman University student who enrolls in a program of study leading to the awarding of a degree at the Associate, Bachelors level.

Amount. The earning rate of the Coleman University Extra Rewards credit program is $166.50 per class completed at Coleman University after enrollment in the program subject to all applicable program terms and conditions. The maximum amount of the award a recipient can receive is $3,330.00 for an AAS degree and $6,660.00 for a Bachelor’s degree:

Applicable Term: The applicable terms and conditions are effective term 3 2021 and all future terms unless revised.

Application Deadline: Student must submit the Coleman Rewards application before the published first day of classes in the quarter for which they would like the Coleman Rewards to be applicable. Application must also be submitted before the first day of classes in which the students begins the degree program that would make them eligible for this award.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

25% tuition discount offered to an International student who is currently in the US on a student visa and transfers to Coleman University as an International student and enrolls in a degree program of study that would lead to the awarding of a Bachelors or Masters degree.

Total Value: 25% discount on Tuition ONLY

Applicable Study Areas: Any, BS, or MS degree seeking program available at the selected Coleman University Campus.

Limitations: Applicant must currently be in the US on a student visa and transferring to Coleman University in the same capacity.

Number of Grants Available: Unlimited.

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University You are welcome here Scholarship is offered to any new, first time applicant to Coleman University student who applies as a transfer  International student and is accepted to Coleman University in a degree seeking program leading to an undergraduate bachelor’s  degree or a masters degree. At the time of the submission of the application, applicant must be residing in the United States and attending a US University as an International Student on a student visa and  in good standing. Applicant must apply to Coleman University as an International student on an eligible student visa. The applicant’s current visa must be in good standing and visa must be eligible for transfer to Coleman University in an eligible degree program.

Applicant must meet all requirements for admission to selected degree program at Coleman University and must subsequently enroll in said eligible degree seeking program at Coleman University. Applicant transferring more than 50 % of the credits required for the selected program of study at Coleman University is not eligible to participate in this scholarship. Applicant for this scholarship must demonstrate a 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale applicable to the academic level preceding the level being sought for admissions or if transferring to the same degree level, in the last program in which they were enrolled.

Amount: The scholarship is awarded as a 25% tuition discount applicable to tuition only for classes taken at Coleman University after the scholarship application has been approved effective the term on the approval notice up to $6,682.50 for a student in the graduate program and $16,650 for a student in the undergraduate program.  All fees associated with classes and other institutional fees are student’s responsibility and said fees and institutional charges are not eligible for 25% discount. The discount will be applied to tuition only for the duration of student’s continuous enrollment at Coleman University. If student withdraws from class and are eligible for an institutional refund, the applicable institutional refund rate will be applied to the previously issued scholarship.

25% tuition discount offered to an International student who is currently in their home country applying for a student visa to attend ColemanUniversity as an International student and enrolls in a degree program of study that would lead to the awarding of a Bachelors or Masters Degree. MUST NOT BE TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER US COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.

Total Value: 25% discount on Tuition ONLY

Applicable Study Areas: Any, BS, or MS degree seeking program available at the selected Coleman University Campus.

Limitations: Applicant must be a first time Coleman University International student applying from their home country and NOT transferring from another US University or College. FIRST TIME INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ONLY.

Number of Grants Available: Unlimited.

Overview:

Eligible Student: The Coleman University International Presidential Scholarship is offered to any new, first time applicant to Coleman University student who applies as an International student and is accepted to Coleman University. Applicant must apply as an International student using an eligible student visa.

Applicant must NOT currently be residing in the United States and must NOT be attending another US based University on an eligible student visa.

Applicant must meet all requirements for admission to selected degree program at Coleman University and must subsequently enroll in said eligible degree seeking program at Coleman University. Applicant for this award must demonstrate a 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale applicable to the academic level preceding the level being sought for admissions or if transferring to the same degree level, in the last program in which they were enrolled.

Applicant must meet all requirements for admission to selected degree program at Coleman University and must subsequently enroll in said eligible degree seeking program at Coleman University.
